9th UK Solar Fuels Symposium

9th and 10th September 2021

We are pleased to announce the 9th UK Solar Fuels Network Symposium will take place on the 9th September. This will be followed by the Early Career Researcher Event taking place on the 10th September. The two-day event is hosted by the University of Strathclyde but will be online only. It will feature a mix of leading scientists working on solar fuels and early career researchers and offer opportunities to interact and build collaborations as well as a session open to the public to raise awareness of the potential of solar fuels and its fit into the energy landscape. Dr Libby Gibson (Newcastle University)

Prof. James Durrant (Imperial College London)

 

Public session:

We are also very happy to announce a public session that is scheduled for the afternoon of the first day. This session will bring together experts working on solar fuels, the deployment of these technologies, industrial perspective and policy makers. It will include an open panel discussion exploring pathways to large scale deployment, challenges and fit into the changing energy landscape.

We invite attendees to submit abstracts for both events using the template. We would like to encourage in particular PhD students and post-docs to submit abstracts for oral presentations. Please email your completed template to SFN before 20th August 2021. Selected presenters will notify the by mid-August.
